Community Day at Alverno
The Art of Voting
Every year since 2000, Alverno cancels classes for a day so that students, faculty and staff can participate in Community Day, a day set aside for service. This year the Art department hosted The Art of Voting workshop where participants screen printed shirts and totes, and also had the chance to create signature pieces of statement jewelry encouraging people to get out and vote.
