The Healing Machine
Assembling the Healing Machine
Our supplies – old wire, painted tin, and old machine parts
Students created etching in metal
Using their illustration, they recreated their image in fabric and stitching.
Students illustrated a page from Squircle.
The finished banner was theirs to keep as a souvenir from the project.
The students learned five different types of stitches.
Students embroidered an original design into a shape, which was then incorporated into the finished mural.
