SCBWI Tomie dePaola illustration contest
This is my second year entering the Tomie dePaola illustration contest. This year’s prompt was to illustrate a short poem called Sneeze.
I had fun working in a more traditional illustration style this year. I used ink and watercolor. When I first pictured this scene in my head, it was a lot more animated. But, this was a great opportunity to work on something in a different medium.
